What was your "I don't get paid enough for this shit" moment?

Worked at a very big corporate law firm that did business all around the world. Worked nights to help support global offices with their document productions and editing, revisions, blah blah blah. Get a call at 10PM from a 1st Year Associate, " Hey ParkwayDriven, we have a client in [A building 20 blocks away], can you walk over there and notarize a few documents and maybe troubleshoot a Computer problem?" My response was, " Company Policy says if you need me to go to another location I need a cab or towncar ordered by the Attorney to take me. Downtown can be sketchy at night and they don't want to be liable if I get mugged or hit by a vehicle on a walk over there." His next response, " Well, can we just send the documents to you and have you notarize them?" My response, " No, that is illegal. I could lose my Notary and possibly my job for doing that." His Response, " Well I need to get these fucking documents notarized by the morning or else this deal falls through and our clients lose a lot of money." I laughed, which was a mistake but I said, " Well, Unless your client comes here or you pay for a vehicle to take me there I am not leaving." He exploded on me, " You think this is fucking funny? You think you are worth anything at this company? I make millions for this firm, you are worth nothing." I hung up, that was when captain douche bag decided to march down to my desk and yell at me to my face about how I was a lazy, fat piece of shit who will never make it anywhere in life. I kindly told him to order a cab or towncar and I'd be glad to do it, if not he can have the client come over or wait until the morning when they can have their Notary at their company sign the documents. He stormed off and slammed a glass door actually sending a cracking it.

I was friends with the Managing Partner. He often invited me over to watch college football, swim in his pool. I was the commissioner for the Attorney Fantasy Football League and I dated his daughter for a while, and he stuck with me during our break up saying she was immature and didn't know what she was doing. I was invited into a meeting the next afternoon after sending a nice e-mail to the Managing partner and CC'ing the Associate onto the e-mail. The meeting was basically the Managing Partner saying, " You don't talk to administrative staff that way. You'll never make it as an attorney if you talk to the administrative staff that way and the fact that he is the only person here at night to take care of the thousands of problems brought to him, does not entitle you to boss him around like a slave. As a matter of fact, he will never have to worry about you again.Get the fuck out of my building..." Security came in, escorted him to his office and allowed him to collect his things. IT helped him gather personal documents from his computer and he was escorted to his Mercedes. It was the first time I'd seen a grown man cry and pitch a fit like a child.
