We were good friends and then she moved several towns away. She sent me this ridiculous diatribe about what a shit friend I was because I wasnt driving out there to visit her.

The kicker: I'm disabled. At that time, functionally bed bound.

I attempt to point out that hour and a half long round trips arent a thing I'm actually capable of, let alone that even when she lived close, the longest visit I was ever able to do was about an hour...

I told her I understood why she didnt come visit my town, after all, she still had a passel of young rugrats. Packing up a bunch of little kids is a major hassle.

"Oh, I'm in your town all the time! Shopping! Visiting my mother! It's not that hard!! So I dont see why you cant do it!"

Which is where my brain shorted out. Wait a minute... neither one of us has visited the other... but Im disabled and stuck in bed all the time and you're in my town 'all the time' and yet have never once called or stopped by... but IM the bitch??

She was literally berating me for not doing something she wasnt even willing to dial a phone or pull a car over for.
