What was your favorite class in school?

I love history. I still go down rabbit holes researching random shit online. I seriously considered going into it, but the money aspect held me back as well.. plus my brain is apparently a sieve that refuses to hold dates in it.

Plus, plus, I have a bad "fuse" in my head where I will research a topic to a certain point before being overcome with frustration and an annoying melancholy that I can't hop in a time machine and actually know exactly what happened. The loss of information can sometimes seriously upset me, and I have to just stop researching and find something else to do or I get depressed.

For example, recently I was researching the "Nuragic civilization", who built the Nuraghe "towers" on Sardinia from around 1900 and 730 B.C.... that's 1170 years... but we know barely anything about them. Just think about how much has happened between now and 851 A.D. and imagine if in the future all that information was lost. It just drives me crazy to think about it.
