What was your first R-rated movie and what impact if any did it have on you?

The truth is I don't know, I had a bit of an obsession with watching and rewatching movies as a very little dude so it's a bit crowded in terms of memories. I used to watch the Ghostbusters movies on a loop basically - I was with my mom in a supermarket or something one day and I kept saying bastard repeatedly because I was hot off a GB2 binge, I was very young (early 90's baby) and she was very embarrassed.

I think I'd generally find ways to watch things in secret though and didn't really pay attention to ratings. The easiest method being a cable movie channel at night, very quietly. If we ever visited the movie store I'd break away from the pack and wander down the sketchy aisles regularly and dream of what was behind the ugliest VHS covers.

I know I watched RoboCop and Starship Troopers very young though. As a kid, RoboCop was pretty insane, it looks different to remember it as a child, Murphy's death was horrifying, I think I found it on TV one night.
