What is your honest opinion about school?

also, with the argument "they are not taught valuable skills", school is less about the actual skills you learn there but more rather about building up individual branches of knowledge ever so slightly to get you started

schools KNOW you probably wont ever use the periodic table or the chemical formula for Chlorophyll outside of highschool (or wherever theyre teaching that now), what they dont know is that if you'll grow up to be a scientist whos job revolves around chemistry or if you'll branch off to something else like IT or cooking, its just there incase you do want to be apart of a job that uses it

would you rather go to college knowing nothing about your major or at the very least knowing the basics of your major
