SS1k on a Triumph America with a R6 and Wing who wanted to do an IB ride with someone who’d done one. R6 rider was solid. Wing rider not so much. Wing guy didn’t stick to planned simple route, wouldn’t do more than 50 in rain or at night. It rained and got dark. We managed but solidified my preference for riding alone.

BB1500 Vegas to Memphis coming home from business trip. Last gas stop I stuffed the receipt in the tankbag map pocket. Couple miles later something white flew up past my face, I’d forgotten to zip the bag closed and the receipt flew out. Had to make an unscheduled receipt stop.

Natl Parks Master Traveler I left the gas cap off my tourtank. After a few miles of smelling gas I figured it out and went back to the gas station. Clerk had cap on the counter waiting for me. I chained it to the tank after. You learn.

Failed 50CC. Started in VA Beach on Veteran’s Day weekend. Stuck behind parade traffic trying to get out of town. Stuck in horrendous traffic in Knoxville and again in Nashville, gave up sitting in traffic in Memphis. Made a relaxing ride to Vegas. Idiot for even considering on a holiday weekend.
