What is your most cringe worthy moment from your teenage years?

I'm sure this will get buried but whatever. It's been haunting me for years.

I grew up in a wooded suburb where all of the neighborhood kids rode around on bikes and we were all friends with each other. My house was towards the back of the neighborhood and our entire backyard was trees for miles.

One evening when I was maybe a freshman in high school, I was sitting at the computer in our finished basement. I was down there about 90% of the time. The computer faced a wall, but if you looked right we had a rec room. The rec room had a high window that opened out at ground level to the side of our house. The rec room had a door that, unless my brother was in there playing video games, remained open. You can probably see where this was going.

With everyone upstairs, I decided that it would be a good idea to, you know, get some self pleasure time in. This wasn't completely unusual. As a female, I could reach down my pants pretty easily. The computer provided reading material (the old erotic-stories.net was my favorite). So I got busy. A couple of times I had the distinct fear that I was being watched, and I thought to close the door between me and the window, but we were really in the middle of nowhere. So of course I didn't bother.

Long story short, the next day, a couple of my male neighbor friends made a couple of weird comments about how they were riding around our neighborhood the previous night. Then a few days later, one of my girlfriends told me what they were telling everyone: they had watched my little session through the window. As it turned out, they had come over to my house to hang out (remember when we did drop-bys?) and decided to come to the basement window to scare me. Then they looked inside and saw what they saw, so of course they weren't going to interrupt. THey were telling everyone and of course I was mortified. The part that was even worse? They said I was picking my nose. I don't remember that part at all, but let's be honest, it's not highly unlikely...

Tl;dr: I am grateful that cell phone video capabilities were not in existence in 2001.
