Awhile back I had a series of unfortunate events happen and was quite depressed, so much so that it was visually noticeable because somehow during that time complete strangers would ask if I’m alright. Anyways one night I decided to go for a walk and ended up at 711 to grab cigarettes and a drink. I ended up sitting on the curb out front for a few moments sulking and this lady noticed me, approached me and asked if I was ok, i broke down and told her everything and she sat there for I’d say roughly 20 minutes comforting me and by the end of it gave me quite a long hug. I never caught her name but it really helped me out and I still think of that lady every so often.
