What was your near death experience?

Leading a pack of tripping hippies to a 'safe spot' in a ravine in the forest we were camped in for the month. All while tornado sirens in the nearby town are going off and the trees are shaking hard. Dead branches fall out in storms like this and they are no joke. There was also the decision of finding a spot in the ravine that was low enough and in the rocks enough to protect us from debris, but not where the river was going to rise to when the flooding hit. And by god when it hit it hit fast. We were near a little two-tier shale waterfall and it just kept getting heavier as we hid down then. Then all at once just, I can't even describe the feeling of seeing it. This wall of water rushing down the ravine the river rose about fifteen feet in an instant as it blew by, the sound was deafening and we were just high enough to not be caught in that.

Have you ever try rounding up people on hallucinogens? It's like herding cats man.
