What is your "never again" brand, store, restaurant, or company?

Subway. And it's over petty annoyances.

I used to go there pretty regularly for lunch during the work week because they were relatively cheap, and I didn't feel terrible about eating there on account of the iceberg lettuce which likely has no nutritional value but still makes my sandwich seem healthy.

But then the nature of franchise locations started hitting me. Subway re-started their "Sub Club" as an app, so I happily joined -- like I said, I went pretty regularly! But the first time I tried using it (which is after you order, when you're paying) they looked at me like I had three heads. I pointed to the giant sticky in their window advertising the program but they still looked skeptical and insisted they needed to call corporate.

And then there was the time they had a sub deal for a specific sandwich, but when I went to buy it they charged me full price. So I pointed at, again, a giant fucking sign they had hung by the menu. They looked at it for a few minutes and then said, "Sorry, I don't know anything about that," and refused to charge me less than standard price.

The last straw was when a lunch rush happened. I had to wait 10 minutes to even get to the counter. When I got there, I asked for the white flatbread -- and they didn't have any. Again.

I haven't been back since.
