What is your take on this verse? Luke 14:26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple.

Love one another. Love God above all else and love your neighbor as yourself.

The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness faithfulness, and self control. Against such things there is no law.

Let these rule your life. If you are being told that others feel less loved or more hated, something is wrong. It is not for us to stand in judgment, but to lead others to God by our example.

Let God bring people to you. Surrender entirely to God and don't try to do the work yourself. We are to be as Christ is. Read the gospels and pay very close attention to how Jesus acted and spoke, to the pivotal moments of each encounter. He surprised people with his every action and word. Trust him. Be easy on others. Wish for them from God the grace you have been given. And give it as well.

Listen to what people are saying to you about how they feel. It's important.
