What is your SLPT (sober life pro tip)?

Oh good!

Gardening - Flowers or food...or both!

Reading - I read at least one chapter a night from something. It's on my to do list.

Cooking - I no longer eat out. I make everything I eat and nothing frozen or ready made.

General maintenance on house, car, and yard - These three consume an enormous amount of time and must be done weekly. I do not consider it a bad thing either. It keeps me busy.

Spend time with loved ones - I make a point to visit my family often. I was neglectful when I was drinking. I especially enjoy visits with my grandmother. She is a wonderfully interesting person and it's so fun to ask them what it was like when they grew up.

Go shopping...without money! - Leave the credit card and money at home, just go places and walk around. You also get some driving time in so busy out on some music while you're at it. Bookstores are crazy fun for this one.

Pay more attention to your pets - I don't have any pets, but spend more time playing with them and walking them.

Parks - Parks are almost everywhere. Go visit them!!!!

Be creative - Wood carving, sculpting, photography, painting, writing, and so many more. Think you suck and you're not talented? Who cares! All these things take practice. Also, I assure you that your home made crappy wood frame for a picture will mean far more than the mass produced piece of garbage you hung up from target. Make your own decorations.

Video games - I enjoy gaming, but do limit myself to a maximum of 2 hours a night. I generally only have 1 hour available anyway.

I think that should do it for now. Pardon my wall of text. Hope it helps. In all honesty, variety has helped me more than anything.
