What is your unpopular SWTOR opinion regarding characters and story?

Here's mine: The JK story is overrated as hell, and clearly not written to the high standard people think it's written to.

It's designed to suit the greatest common denominator that checks a bunch of boxes: heroism, a dash of tragedy, personal development, etc...

but it has the stupidest, and I mean STUPIDEST, chapter 2-3 of all.

So you just took down a Darth who's all pissy about his son dying. Hooray! What's next? Continue your training? Work on your Padawan some more? Do some work for the Republic? Play some gosh diddly dang HUTTBALL!?

...oh no, it's capture the Emperor of the Sith.

The Emperor of the Sith.

The Sith, a bunch of cartoon villains who willingly embrace the dark side and kill for funsies and kick puppies as if it was breathing, only treat ONE name, ONE person with any sense of "reverence" and fear: the Emperor. It's no galactic secret that this is the ONE guy who, outside of somehow becoming immortal in ways that even the Jedi do not understand, could make these cartoon villains, and the COUNCIL of cartoon villains QUAKE IN FEAR.

...and some Jedi Master dumbfuck thinks "eh, one strike team of some good-ish Jedi should be fine".

His ENTIRE plan was "find his space station --> get on board and try not to die horribly --> ??????????????!?!!?!?!?!?!? ---- Profit by "redeeming the Emperor".

What's hilarious is that he calls him "just another Sith". Which is literally known to be BEYOND untrue, even beyond a meta gaming perspective.

Literally every step of the way throughout that chapter, I took every chance to say 'this plan sucks, yo', and when it failed, I felt the BIGGEST 'I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO, GOD WHY DOES NOBODY LISTEN' welling up within me.

Seriously, Kira was the ONLY one with the sense to object, but sadly when it was already too late.

Anyway, this rant of mine can be summarized as: Tol Braga is the biggest dumb dumb in the history of dumb dumbs, and his plan and associated chapter is dumb dumb,
