What do your worlds do when a situation crosses the Godzilla Threshold?

The Omega Sanction, the Last play protocol and the Salted Stars are humanities answer to these threats.

“The salted stars” involves Nuking a planet from orbit continuously until whatever was a problem ceases to be a problem. It’s been used a few times in Humanities history, notably against the Shrike when we found their nest worlds and turned them into irradiated wastelands.

The last Play Protocol is in case humanity is irreversibly devastated and cannot hope to survive. we send our children away, unlocking all restrictions and safety features in the hope that our legacy will survive and we’ll achieve final victory through our children

The Omega Sanction is...dangerous, it’s the one no one wants to consider. In Humanities expansion amongst the stars we either found some stuff or developed some stuff or captured some stuff that we decided was to dangerous to have lying around but we might need just in case. So we stored them in a vault in a space station far away from Earth and pretended they never existed. The Winter’s Grasp, Ultima, Bad death, Skyzore’s Blade etc. the Omega Sanction is basically opening the Vaults and hoping for the best.
