Not worst story but I’m a fairly new player to DND. And my dm was really good at first but slowly getting more and more on my nerves. My husband is also a new player and becoming a DM as well. I was interested in his game so I started creating a new character on my own and doing some research. My husband made the mistake telling him and now literally not only trying to take over my husbands game but as well saying the character I want to do says it will be too difficult for me to understand and I won’t handle it when hasn’t even given me the chance to study and build the character. And then had the audacity to send me a calendar he made for his game and asked me what I thought. I wasn’t too impressed it was just a made up calendar and and says “well naming all these seasons and days is a lot more difficult than you think” and he knows I’m literally creating a book series. As if I don’t already know
