What was your "wow what a small world" experience?

Well, I actually have the power to travel to any alternate universe/dimension/timeline of my choosing, and back in the summer of 2016 is when I experienced this "small world" phenomenon.

I received a message from a new client who had asked me to come over to his world and fix her tractor. Now, that might seem like a peculiar issue to like, literally contact someone multiple universes away from her, but as I am dirt poor and am always up for discovering new worlds anyway, I took the job without much judgment.

I entered her coordinates into my invisible portal-making shadow projection bestowed upon me from Heaven Sector 35, and proceeded to hop through the portal it had just created. As I made my leap to the new world, however, I had noticed something very peculiar: I couldn't see anything around here. Just a vast space of darkness... However, as soon as I landed on this mysterious new land, I immediately heard a loud "CRRUUUNCH!" from below. Though fearful of what I would see next, I slowly lifted my foot and looked underneath, only to have my fears confirmed... I had just crushed their entire planet.

As I am only human and I make mistakes just like everyone else, I decided not to let the millions of tiny little deaths I caused to get to me. Instead, I shrugged, saying, "Huh. Small world." and hopped back to my home universe, where I would spend the rest of my day dreaming big.

It's too bad I never got paid, but then again, their currency was probably so small I'd have to let shopkeepers look at it through a microscope every time I wanted to buy something with it.

It's whatever.
