What YouTube channels are genuinely worth watching?

Kurzgesagt: they do animated videos on mostly science/philosophy

Wendover Productions: economics/geography

Half as Interesting: sister channel of Wendover, has a video series of random wikipedia articles from a wikipedia page titled: "Wikipedia: Unusual Articles"

Vox: they do a variety of topics, from music to science to politics. They also have frequent collaborations with Propublica, and their videos are very well edited.

Wired: I honestly don't care much for the autocomplete videos it does with celebrities (or anything involving celebrities there), but under playlists, you can find some genuinely good series like Almost Impossible.

Verge: tech news discussion, tech reviews

Verge Science: videos on science news. Their videos are very well edited and coherent, and they make science interesting for all.

TechAltar: has a long-running series titled "The Story Behind", which takes a look at some of the reasons behind decisions made by tech companies.

Real Life Lore: explores the "What if?" questions in detail
