Whatcom officials in ‘uncharted territory’ after Cherry Point fossil fuel facility accused of unpermitted expansion

I prefer a system that protects your health and does not violate your individual rights.

Which is exactly what laws and regulations are for. I feel like Libertarians (you have the same stance as they do on this) have drawn a really silly line in the sand regarding the definition of individual rights.

Smoking laws for instance. Second hand smoke. After all the court cases, research and clinical studies we have found that prolonged exposure to second hand smoke does, in fact, cause major health issues. So now we have laws in place to regulate that.

What exactly is your position on something like second hand smoke?

I would like a well thought out answer if you don't mind, not just a one liner that explains nothing.

P.S. - private courts would still be considered government by the very nature of what courts do.
