What'd you guys think of that Netflix movie XOXO?

Initial Reactions of Characters (mostly negatives:

Chris D'elia: Why did he do this movie? Has he been into this scene for a long time? My initial understanding of raves is that in the beginning in the 90s when they were initially popular and had a drop, EDM was very different back then and was higher BPM and was techno. So it makes sense his character is disillusioned with how the music developed into what it is now with all these "bros"

Tariq: SUPER stereotypical archetypal character. His conversation with his dad and that whole scene made me cringe. Not really an interesting character

Sarah Hyland's Character: IMO the most interesting character thus far, a realistic representation of innocent girls/teenagers who get into the scene because of friends and become subjected to drugs/party scene/etc. I am not enjoying the meeting the online love interest plot.

The Bus Crowd: I know a bunch of people who are into EDM, and none of them were like that Hippie guy who was bothering Ethan Shaw.

The Couple: Pretty wooden acting but to be expected from amtures

The Douche Security: Really unrealistic, kind of annoying plot device.
