What's an easy way to trigger a Dark Souls fan?

The combat system is overrated, 90% of it is just memorizing roll timing and in the later games the fakeout attack delay timing (this is built so that even faster reaction players can get killed a couple times by bosses with these kinds of attacks since the game sells itself on being able to kill the player heavily), punishing with two boring R1s, and repeating until you slowly chip the boss to death. The biggest skill required in Souls outside of that is just some basic spacing and footsies in pvp, which barely even applies to DS1 because the entire pvp meta is just wait for the other guy to do anything and backstab punish. They only think of these things as so cool and complex because they haven't actually played any of the other numerous action games that blow Souls combat out of the water. Best thing that happened to Souls combat was when it got kicked to the curb and Sekiro redid everything right. Guess we gotta see if it ruins Elden Ring or not, at least ER is confirmed to have a fucking jump button which already makes it significantly better by default.

Now whooooooooooooo's TRIGGERED? It ain't gonna be everybody, that's for sure. Yo Soulsbois, check out a real boss fight. This version of Doku with the Dark Dragon Blade has a 2-frame unblockable grab attack that does 80% of your lifebar btw, you see me get hit by it a couple times, and yet because you are playing Hayabusa you STILL get to create ways to go on offense against this guy and get big damage in. The clone boss is even cooler to fight but I haven't unlocked those missions in the PC version yet so I can't just randomly record gameplay of it on command. Sekiro taking inspiration from and really even surpassing Ninja Gaiden in many ways along with combining in elements of Tenchu and Ezio Trilogy AC finally proved that From Software was capable of making an absolutely bitchin combat system. Because Dark Souls certainly wasn't.
