What's the angriest you've ever been and what made you so angry?

A former boss of mine almost gave a stroke but insulting my fiancé.

I recall I was having a bad day and the boss was known for crude and hurtful jokes & comments (and adultery) I put up with it for four years and never really got mad. But after a morning of being railed because we were spending too munch money on supplies when he (the boss) would turn around and horse trade with a buddy.

Anyways, we were in the lobby when this very heavy lady stepped out of her car he quickly turned around laughing and said “There you go QcumberKid, you love those big fat ladies.”

I glanced over his shoulder out of instinct and then back to his eyes. In a split second I knew I could have had him on the floor sporting a broken nose, missing teeth, and a something broken. But I did nothing but stare at him. My fiancé was not “big and fat”, in fact she looks like Sara Rue (before she got really skinny). My dept manager had been the butt of his jokes a few times and could tell that something was about to go down and I wasn’t going to be good. She knew my fiancé and knew how much I loved her and would do anything to protect her or her honor.

After he left the room laughing she came over to me and told me she would handle the customer and that I should leave for the day. She said she would tell the boss I needed to meet a client. So I left and went straight to see my fiancé and tell her what happened. She noticed that I was trembling and hardly able to hold a glass of water. She took my blood pressure with one of their cuffs and was recommended to calm down or go to the ER. I don’t recall the numbers but I remember along with the rage, trembles, and headache, my fiancé holding me to help calm me down.

If the pay wasn’t really good and I was minutes from my house and planning a wedding, I would have whipped his ass and taken whatever recourse happened. I know a lot of coworkers would have sided with me.

TL;DR: Abusive boss makes fun of the woman I loved and makes my blood pressure sky rocket to the point that I almost had a stroke.
