He was a friend of my wife's dog... completely neglected and abused. She had a junkyard pitbull (I love pits, but she neglected this dog too, she lived on a big chain.. She would break that chain and go attack nearby COWS. She also ate her own puppies).
One day that dog broke her chain and went after that little Yorkie+Something mutt on the left in my picture. He is a badass little dude. ~14 pounds of pure muscle and undefeatable attitude. That pit grabbed his face and held on, he was able to break free when it wanted to switch its grip to kill him. He took off and hid under some wood on one of the shitty trailers in the dirty trailerpark. That pitbull BROKE THE WOOD and grabbed his ass, then dragged him out as he pushed with all his strength against the broken wood to hold himself there. It split him in two, HUGE scar down his back (as well as all the teeth scars). Eventually some men used a breakbar and got him free. My little guy was then NEVER taken to a vet. Just lived outside in the dirt at this trailerpark.. neglected. He somehow healed from all of this and didn't die, his body is more scared up than Arrow's main character (uhm Oliver?). When I met this dog, he had never had a haircut, his hair was hardened and he had a hunchback (it seemed, it was all hair). He had a bladder infection, ear infection, and the worst case of flea infestation I've ever seen. My wife phoned me upon first seeing him and asked if we could have him. I said yes and we cleaned him up and got him medical care (he had long since healed from the attack already). He is the most brave and well-balanced little dog. Scared of NOTHING, but not aggressive, a little cuddler who loves attention and appreciates company and love and nice things. He is content to go curl up by himself in our house and knows how to take care himself. He's like 'street smart' will steal food and open water bottles for water if around.
I have an asshole neighbor who let his dogs mess up my home and threaten us.. he had an untrained or cared for pitbull (this one was sweet though) and then a huge aggressive Rottweiler. My little attack survivor gives no fucks. He would try to go after that Rott (I have taken care that problem though with the neighbor then his Rott died within a week of him getting it not related to me). Then he bought more pitts to breed... My little guy proceeded to have ALL the sex with his bitch pittbull when she was in heat. Still hoping when she has puppies they look like bigger versions of my guy (as an F-U to the neighbor and pretty amazing turn in his story from attacked by girl pitts to making babies with one).
