What's the biggest double standard that still exists in 2016?

I don't understand how rude people think, irl.

They think it's OK to be rude to you but if your rude to them back it's a shit show. Constantly engaging in conflict and focusing on negative feelings engaging in bad behaviors in order to provok someone hoping for the situation to escalate to the point of violence. Unable to communicate appropriately and solve conflict even well in to there 30s. I don't know how they have survived... feeding off the bottom socially and economically I guess... I know there are plenty of wealthy rude people but that's not the demographic I am immediately affected by.

Rudeness is the weak persons imitation of strength. Nobody looks at a person flipping out, screaming and cursing as strong and tough. Nobody looks at individuals constantly stirring the pot looking for conflict as level headed rational adults who contribute something positive to society and should be regarded as people to take seriously. When I say nobody I mean anyone who is mature, rational, and mentally stable.

Double standard on the rudeness. You get what you give.
