What's the biggest relationship challenge you've *solved* with your current SO?

During the early years of our marriage, my husband and I had different accounts. I paid all the utilities and he paid the mortgage and we shared grocery. When we moved to the US I wasn't working, had no credit history and couldn't get a bank account. So he added me to his bank account. Now 10 years later, we still share the same account. Both our salaries are debitted to the account and I manage all our finances. We trust each other to be fiscally responsible. No purchases over $100 is every made without consulting with the other person.

This level of trust didn't happen overnight. We have been married for 13+ years now and it happened gradually.
