What's the breaking point for selling your car from a practical perspective?

depends on your budget, some folks can't afford to get out of being nickle and dimed to death. Also, having a good understanding of what "need" actually is. Folks may convince themselves that they "need" a new(er) vehicle, when it may be far from the case. I have a car and a pickup, 18 and 21 yrs. old. They both have less than 140k miles on them. Never a lick of trouble, just expected maintenance. Truck did get a new alternator and fuel pump recently, and I need to replace the A/C pump. Car has a box full of suspension part I need to install - maybe over the quarantine holiday. These cars are old by many standards, but I would be very hard pressed to justify a need for something else (maybe if I wanted to put precious cargo in a "safer" rig). Just saying, give sound thought to separating need from desire.
