What's the closest to death you've gotten?

Passenger in a car that went over a cliff. Literally. Hit black ice and went straight off the road. Rolled several times on the way down the hill. It was probably 50 feet. I wasn't wearing a seatbelt (really dumb teenager) and braced myself by holding my hands on the roof. Car landed upright and we were both able to crawl out the driver side door and climb/scramble to the top of the hill by grabbing trees, roots, and stuff. I remember spitting dust-like glass for hours.

It's been 17 years and I have PTSD symptoms when I'm driving near windy, hilly roads, especially when someone else is driving. A few times I've just bursted out crying if the driver doesn't slow down to my satisfaction lol.
