What's the closest thing you have to a superpower?

My memory and speed of thought, I’ve known I have a good memory for a few years now despite thinking I had a poor one when I was a kid (I kind of did actually, at some point during puberty it just kind of corrected itself), but the last year I’ve been told that I think faster than others too.

My friends sometimes comment that I’m just a walking computer, I have so much information stored in my head, I just love to read and watch documentaries and when I learn or experiment something it just kind of stays inside my brain, it only took me two attempts to memorise my debit number for example. There are downsides, I can still recall with clarity what it felt like each time I had my heart broken, or when I felt helpless and so alone, there are plenty of things I wish I could forget that I don’t and it seems to take me longer to get over breakups because the memories stay so powerful for so long, it’s also why I don’t like memorabilia, it’s distracting.

In regards to speed, it’s little stuff like I always seem to be able to think of what to say faster than others, I’m often quicker at adding numbers or the first to notice and react to traffic in the city. The other week I was playing Articulate with my partner and her parents and I realised I was able to read a word, work out if I knew and if I was able to come up with an explanation or not, in half a second or so, something I kind of just assumed was normal. This does explain certain issues I’ve had in past relationships when I’ve exhausted someone because my brain never stops running, or because I don’t really like relaxing, I find it infuriating to just lay there doing nothing. Like the memory thing it’s a double edge sword.
