What's the craziest butterfly effect that happened to you because of a small decision you made?

It wasn't a decision I made, but rather what the anesthesiologist who gave my mother an epidural made. I was born almost exactly at midnight, and because everyone was busy giving birth to me, no one was looking at the clock to see what time I was born. The anesthesiologist was the only one who really knew, and he said that I was born 10 seconds before midnight on December 29th. Fast forward 16 years later, and I wanted to get my driver's license (Learner's permit). Kansas was about to change the law on January 1st to be that you had to be 17. The 29th happened to be a Friday, so thanks to being born 10 seconds before midnight, and not after, I was able to get my learner's permit under the old system, and was able to drive a year early.
