What's the craziest butterfly effect that happened to you because of a small decision you made?

My grandfather (on my fathers side) was in World War 1, and my father told me a story one time about a story his father told him when he was younger. He (my grandfather) was once on a train full of soldiers heading to a station. Now, for whatever reason (I can’t remember), my grandfather suspected something was wrong. He didn’t feel right, and felt like something bad was going to happen upon arrival to the station ahead. So he informed people on the train that they should jump the train, because he felt there was something seriously bad about to happen. Well turns out, no one believed him, and though he was crazy to want to jump the train. So he jumped off the moving train himself, and upon looking into the distance at the train he sees it slow down, and then all of a sudden the train explodes, (supposedly) killing everyone on board.

Had he not jumped that train, my father would not be alive today, and neither would I.
