I live up in NorCal and senior year of highschool my friends and I hear this rumor of a "concrete bunker house" up in the foothills that some kids at a nearby school found.
Our friends at our nearby school told us that they went to this concrete house and saw a man with a white trench coat/lab coat at the top of it..
Hearing this we had to investigate, so me and my friends went to this house. Looked absolutely horrifying like an abandoned WW2 bunker, but there was a giant metal sliding door to the house that had a strange lock on it. We thought the house would be abandoned and the rumor was made up so we tried to break into the house (I know, we were being dumb kids). During this, I'm not kidding when I say 4 police cars show up and put us (about 4 of us) to gunpoint on the ground.
Apparently the police got a call saying someone is trying to break into my property and If they don't leave I'm going to shoot them. The police, after seeing what the house looked like and that we were just dumb curious kids, understood our situation but couldn't even fathom how close we were to potentially getting shot.
As we left we saw the old mans face peeking through one of the weird dark concrete windows, and I swear he was wearing one of those WW2 aviator goggles... weirdest fucking thing. Police officers said the house was being built and then stopped due to no funding and a "strange man" bought the unfinished house and somehow made it livable.
