Well, while I know nothing about her history with her father (I can guess there might be something there from what I've read about his consistent absence) I personally think her ED stems from her idea of her natural face. She used to model in NYC, if I remember correctly. And she has a naturally round full face. I believe her ED is her attempt to slim down her face and bring out the curvature she so desperately has become conditioned to see as more attractive after being surrounded by models and model agents for so long. Her skeleton body is the side effect of her trying to slim her face down.

And lately she finally appears to have achieved that. Unfortunately the side effects are ... not good.
