What's the difference between mature and immature INFPs?

I think anyone can have a sore spot though. We can be healthy in loads of areas and this one instance can trigger us differently for different reasons. It can also manifest itself in more extreme ways or subtle more socially “acceptable” but still come from the same root.

I think healthy people in general are less reactive. Are under less stress generally (prolonged stress can take its toll on anyone). I think healthy people aren’t living in remedy/defensive mode all the time where this one issue runs their life and psyche. Always being in coping mechanism mode. The repressed and unresolved always tears it’s ugly head somehow.

At the end of the day people need to come to these realizations on their own. Healing comes from within once they realize something is an issue that needs to be reconciled. Fate will bring that wake up call along at some point. Well, hopefully fate will make them aware of it as we face wake up calls and see solutions daily but are just blinded by whatever dialogue we have running in our head.

So telling them what you observe makes you a good friend. One day they will look back and incorporate what you said and have that epiphany. For me stuff goes into the Rolodex everyday! It just takes me a while to connect the dots and have a healthy realization where I can grow.

I wouldn’t, from my experience, make this your issue. Because it’s not. It’s their dialogue, dance, triggers and self induced mess. If it becomes a pattern and you’re always there to lend an ear or offer advice .... put up some boundaries. They are too in it to hear, see, feel, realize anything else.

It’s like Plato’s Cave shit. Be the one out there in the light sporadically yelling in put don’t let them pull you in.

All generalizations and I could be projecting or complicating something that’s actually far more simple than I’ve made it!!!!
