What's the dumbest misunderstanding you've encountered with another IT person?

I have a 3 month long email chain going back and forth with an internal PR person about adding an MX record for a new domain they bought. First off they already had an account at another registrar, but she signed up her own GoDaddy account for this new domain and refused to give me the password. I could have done it myself in 20 seconds, but no. She wanted to do it.

Three months of back and forth, with weeks going by between replies. Finally her manager emailed me saying they were upset that I was taking so long with getting email setup on the new domain. I forwarded the manager the three month long email chain. An hour later I was sent the GoDaddy login info, and about 2 minutes after that email was up.
