What's the dumbest popular "plot hole" claim in a movie that makes you facepalm everytime you hear it?

This is something that annoys me a lot, where people day they want everything explained on screen in more detail. FFS that's awful writing. Personally I blame the PT. For the last two decades before the ST the only SW content we had were stories designed to explain the context of what we already know and so people became accustomed to having every single thing explained to them in the films or in the plethora of outside material. So now the ST has come along and is written in a more normal way that only explains the necessary and people are riled up because they're used to having everything spoon fed to them rather than reaching conclusions themselves or worse, actually watching the films and realising that everything important is explained if you pay attention.
