What's everyone's profession/major/prospective career?

I’m an attorney. I was once a partner at a large plaintiff’s side class action firm, but a few years ago I decided to go solo. Now, I specialize in representing whistleblowers (technically the term is actually “relators”) under the false claims act. Basically, if you know someone is ripping off the government, you can sue on behalf of the government and get a percentage of whatever you get back for them. It’s a pretty specialized area of law and lots of people don’t even know it exists, but it can be very interesting. I’ve seen a lot of Medicare fraud cases, but I’ve also seen mortgage fraud, banking fraud, procurement fraud, tariff fraud — you name it, if the government will pay for it, somebody’s going to try to cheat.
