Whats the first thing you thought when you saw your SO for the first time?

"God, this is awkward."

We met on an online chatroom after I said I needed help with something technical. He was the first one who responded and I asked if I could call him instead of talking through text. I heard his accent and it kind of threw me off guard, which made me a bit more nervous in addition to how stupid I felt for making a stupid mistake that landed me in the situation. I made another stupid mistake that accidentally ended up prolonging the problem - what was supposed to take 15 minutes took two hours. Most of the time was just silence, me nervously laughing and apologizing every now and then for taking so long, and him saying it was fine. I thought he was annoyed and was just being nice for the sake of being cordial.

...As it turns out, he was just super shy. I thanked him profusely at the end for staying with me through that mess and he sounded pretty happy when he said it was no problem. I asked if I could call him again some time and we became friends. Then at one point he did a complete 180 and started hitting on me after he got comfortable. After exchanging pictures and stuff I got super lucky that he's super cute, nice, and funny. And everything good. Plus, he thought the same about me.

I flew to his country over the summer and we had the best time ever and got together then. I hope I can go see him again super soon.
