That was a thing, yes, but I think a lot of people also started unsubbing because of Leftovers. When you start getting political, you will lost part of your audience, no matter which way you go. I don't think the whole "unintentional" drama podcast theme is helping them either.

And while I'm here, I'm just going to say it. Ethan needs a new psychiatrist that isn't just going along with the "this drug changed my life for the better" narrative. No legitimate Doctor outside of the US would allow someone to take antidepressants for 3+ years without challenging themselves to try not taking it for a few months and see if things are getting better. Those drugs are NOT meant to be a permanent crutch, and I see things in Ethan that I saw in myself when I was on them for too long.
