OP made a post a while ago saying they’ve only been a fan for a few months. I doubt he would be up to date on gamehendge by now, and I take it this is not a question framed by a seasoned fan asking something like “so was it 92 that the crowd really started it?”. I still answered his question. The whole point of Phish is to listen to them, so I recommended he just listened to TMWSIY, and that it would all make sense, because at the beginning Trey plays the two low Es and chants ‘Wilson’. Do you think he would expect another reason as to why the crowd (seemingly out of no where) decided to chant in live shows? So again, I wonder why both of my comments deserved downvotes.
