Really? Do you feel the same about herpes? Hepatitis? The flu? Genital warts? Because you're painting with a very broad brush there.

Also, what if you didn't know you were HIV+? What if the newly infected person thinks the wrong person infected them?

And where is your personal responsibility? You have sex with a girl and get her pregnant. You didn't mean to have a kid, you can't afford a kid, you have a ton of things you want to do, but guess what? A judge is holding you responsible for the kid. Because you had sex. Which has risks.

If you're worried about infections, then don't have sex. Or do like responsible people do: take precautions, put on a condom, get snipped, take PreP, talk with your partner, inform yourself, and take responsibility for sharing your body with someone.

There's no doubt people who lie about being poz are being shady. But no more than people who lie about having syphilis. And tons of people just don't know.
