What's the meanest/rudest thing you've seen someone do in public? And did you do/say anything about it?

Mine happened when I was still working in retail so I was more than happy to let out my own frustrations on someone else. I stopped into a McDonalds while on a trip to get some breakfast. Behind the counter was a young girl in her late teens or early twenties who obviously had Down syndrome. She was doing a pretty good job at keeping the line moving and seemed to be enjoying herself. I was in line behind a woman with the "I want to speak to your manager/ why is my son on the bench?" haircut. She had a designer purse, glasses and looks like she sucked and fucked her way up the social ladder.

She started to order and she was mumbling half of her words while bitching at Hunter and Chandler, her two hellish kids who would not stop screaming at each other. The girl was asking her to repeat every other item and in the confusion, accidentally put something on the order and had to ask a manager to help her. The manager came over, punched some buttons and walked away. The girl repeated the order back and the woman snapped, "no, I told you an egg McMuffin with EXTRA cheese, are you competent to do this job or do you need your helper to do you job for you.". The girl began apologizing for something that was not her fault, the woman never said extra cheese, I heard her. I waited until the girl stopped talking and I jumped in. I asked her what her problem was and who the hell did she think she was talking to her like that. She replied that she had a right to speak to her that way as she was being "served" by her. I stopped her before she could utter another word and said "she is doing her job, which is more of a job that you have ever had besides being a miserable cunt who obviously had her life peak when she finally wrapped her mouth around the right cock.". Her jaw dropped and she claimed I had no right to talk to her that way and I said I most certainly did because she decided to pick on someone who was not allowed to defend herself.

By this time the girl behind the counter is scrambling for her manager and bitchy mommy was shuffling herself out the door. The manager came over and asked what happened and I explained everything. Others who saw it agreed and things went back to normal. I ordered, the girl got it perfectly right and had a huge smile on her face during our interaction.
