What's the most badass way you've quite a job?

I'd been there 21 years, was making just a shade under 6 figures, family owned company had turned dysfunctional over the course of 2-3 years after the patriarch retired and a new (worthless) VP of Marketing was hired. Walked in, on of all days, April 1, and told my VP I quit. He and others were pretty incredulous. Sales in the segment I was responsible for took a significant hit and never recovered. People that are still there hate their lives, I moved on to a lower stress second career and I am now happily retired and living the dream. VP's wife divorced him a just couple of years after I left and took half of his home equity and 401(k). He's probably stuck there until he dies.
