What's the most fucked up thing a family member of yours has done? [NSFW]

As the son of an alcoholic you need to nip this in the bud right now. My Dad fought tooth and nail to keep my mum from the bottle for over 20 years and she'd always find an excuse to drink. "I need it for stress" "Driving drunk? No problem, i've only had 6 beers!", "Feed the kids? Nah I got the bottle right here I ain't moving!". Trust me, it will get worse and worse until he hits rock bottom like my mum did and reality kicks him in the face. His addiction (and it is an addiction) will kill him unless you get under control asap. Any excuse to drink, is just that, an excuse. There is simply no biological need for him to drink, it's all in his head.

Don't do this for yourself do it for your kids. They're going to grow up watching their parents drink themselves to death like I did. Can you imagine how horrifying it is be 8 y/o and to have to call 911 while holding your mum's head while she's having a grand mal seizure? How many kids even know what a seizure is?! It's fucking terrifying and these experiences will scar your kids for the rest of their lives. That memory and the memory of my mum driving my 5 y/o brother and I around with a 32 oz of smirnoff handy are my most vivid childhood memories. At 13 I was told to get ready to say goodbye to her forever as she was suffering from massive liver failure. Her hair was thin, her skin pale and yellow and her eyes were completely dead inside.

Imagine that being your kids final memory of you, is that really how you want them to remember you?
