You got this!! My dad is in the same boat. Had solid jobs and then he got let go from a really good one 10 years ago and hasn’t held a steady job since. Technically could say he’s been 10 years without work. I’ve seen what it’s done to him, it breaks my heart. Probably had an impact on how I was raised too. I wish I could just shake him and say you’re smart, intelligent, and a good person!!!! Keep your head up and don’t let embarrassment or other peoples opinions or anything stop you from trying to find work, even if it’s a new industry and you gotta start from the bottom!! You can do it!!! I wish more than anything I could get my dad too, so do it for you and for me!!
