Had a friend who would let me crash on the couch at her apartment after the bars pretty regularly. We’d been friends a couple years, and I’d never caught any vibes that made me think we’d ever hook up. One night though, I was on the couch, and could hear her watching a show from her room (loft style apt, so you could hear every word), and I suddenly saw an opportunity to make a move. Without even thinking about it, I got up, opened her door, and joked about her ruining the episode for me (I’d never seen the show). She pulled open the sheets and told me to come watch it with her then. Not even two minutes in and we start hooking up. Stayed with her that night, and by the next weekend, we were back to being friends like before that had just randomly hooked up one night.
