I had recently gotten laid off and was starting a contract job. The directions to the building were all messed up and I went to 3 different visitor parking lots trying to find a spot. The last one I drove into I burst out into tears because all I could think of was how this wouldn't be happening if I hadn't been laid off from my dream job. When the security guard told me to go to another visitor lot. He told me to drive over to him. He came out and gave me a hug and found me a spot in the lot across the road, then told me "your job is going to work out!" A year and a half later it is one of the best jobs I've had. I learned he passed away a few months ago and I'll never forget how much better he made my day.
