I book in appliance repairs and we do services on them too to make sure they’re running ok. The services keep being rearranged by another department because of a shortage of workmen.

When someone says ‘I was due a service visit today’ I already know the department has rearranged it and not told the customer so I will have to take the flack for it because I have to tell them they’ve rebooked it for another day even though the customer has been waiting in all day for the workman. Wish they’d just call them first thing and tell them it’s cancelled rather than change it and not let anybody know! It’s a daily argument with customers over how they’re upset nobody told them and shouting at me lol.
