Aliens are considered paranormal, right?

When I was but a 12 year old girl I lived in a townhouse with my mom, older brother and younger sister. I woke up from my bed to see blinding lights almost illuminating through the walls of the house, and I stood up and ran from my bed into the hallway and saw my family standing a bit back from the stairs, mouths open and gaping, eyes wide with fear. They were seemingly unable to move, and unable to speak.

I ran in front of them to protect them and looked down the stairway, and I saw 3 really short gray aliens staring back up at me. The way they moved upward was fast and the movement itself was sporadic and unlike anything I had ever seen, and I have never felt fear like that in my entire life. All I can remember doing is raising my left arm upward in order to deck these aliens out of pure desperation, and then nothing.

I woke up in my bed in the morning, and my left arm was still raised into the exact position I had when I was going to attempt to beat up some aliens.

My family obviously thinks it was a nightmare, but I am someone who has had nightmares from a very, very young age and then throughout my entire life, and not ONE dream felt as real and scary as that one.
