What's the quickest it took you to quit a job and why did you quit?

I quit one before even starting it.

Was relocating towns 5 hrs apart for a job, a couple weekends before made the trip down to settle deposit and lease for a rental property. Offered to come in and do onboarding inductions since I'd be in the area, then on my starting day I'll be ready to go right to site and start work. It wasn't planned but ended up going to their 4-hr long WHMIS training that was already booked for everyone else so that they wouldn't have to pay for another session once I started. I re-arranged my travel back home to accommodate. Clarified before leaving that would be paid time, the owner said no because I "hadn't technically started yet". Everyone else that attended was being paid for the time.

Anyways I resigned and the next day they sent me a money transfer for the amount I should have been paid. Luckily the property owner I was to rent from was very understanding of my situation and gave back my deposit and cancelled lease without penalty.
