Not in my house, in a dorm, there was a guy on my floor who was obviously not well off, he had a full government grant to go to school but he couldn’t afford a laptop or textbooks. Me and him were in a few classes together so I’d let him borrow my books and laptop if he needed it as long as he let me know he had it. Well after a while he started helping himself to my textbooks (no big deal). A little while later he started helping himself to laptop (kind of a big deal because I broke my ass the summer before to pay for it). The final straw was when I went into his room to get it back because I had to do a presentation for a class that was 30% of my grade. I went in and it was gone, he said he let someone else borrow it. I found who was borrowing it downloading torrents of movies and playing games on it in his room telling everyone about his new laptop. I took it back, found out one of the torrents was a virus, and had to format my hard drive. I confronted him about it, and his answer was “well it didn’t seem like a big deal to me!”, long story short we got into it, he never talked to me again and any time I saw him with someone else’s stuff, I’d always say as loud as possible “GONNA GIVE IT AWAY TO SOMEONE ELSE AGAIN?”. He eventually dropped out because in all that time using my laptop he never did homework, he was watching shows on my Netflix account and playing games on it.
