What's the rudest thing a guest has ever done in your home?

Not my home but this happened in my car which is pretty equatable imo. So a friend of a friend needed a ride home really bad, and me trying to be a good dude said sure why not, I’ll drop you off no need to pay me since he was maybe ten minutes out of the way.

Well on the walk back from the party we were at to my car the kid bummed a cigarette from a random person on the street, and then went back and begged the dude for a second one after he had already passed, which the guy gave him for some reason.

The kid smoked waited till we got into my car to ask for a lighter, which I’ll point out was for a lighter and not for permission to smoke in my car. And then once I told him it was cool if he smoked if he kept the window down, and then proceeded to put down his window for him, he lit up and instantly started complaining about the cigarettes he begged for being menthol. He then proceeded to make obnoxious spitting noises, and I thought he was spitting out the window. He then pulled a water bottle of some unknown liquid out of his ass pocket and took a swig, which I’m assuming was to wash the menthol taste from his mouth. Whatever was in the bottle was clearly alcoholic as the stench filled the car the entire drive home, and continued to do so after I dropped the kid off, and thankfully got him the fuck out of my car.

On the way home, he called our mutual friend asking if I could come back cause he dropped the second loosy he bummed earlier and thought it might’ve been in the back of my car. I obviously the request and dropped everybody off.

When I finally got home, I was surprised that the stench of whatever he was drinking stilled lingered and went back to find: the open water bottle discarded on my back floor, a puddle of spit, his cigarette butt ashed into my back seat, and the lost loosy unrolled and tobacco left on my floor along with the kid’s grinder filled with pot, indicating his plans to roll a joint in the back of my car.

He got my number from our mutual friend and asked me if i could drop it off the next day. I told him he could have it back after he paid for the back of my car to be detailed. He hung up on me and blocked my number.

I never heard from him again, but I found out last year that he died from a fentanyl OD a few months earlier.

Looking back, he was probably zoinked out on heroine when I gave him a ride, which would explain how someone could be so fucking rude. He probably never even realized what he was doing. Still doesn’t make him any less of a piece of shit, but even after all that I can’t help but feel sorry for the dude.
